How to Keep Score in Dominoes (All Fives)
This is the Playing Bones guide on "How to keep score in dominoes".
When playing the dominoes game of all Fives, players score points during gameplay by matching dominoes with the total number of pips (dots) on both ends of the domino adding up to a multiple of five (i.e., 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, etc.). Here’s how to keep score in Dominoes playing All Fives:
- At the beginning of the game, all players start with a score of zero.
- After drawing 7 or 9 dominoes, each player will take turns playing dominoes.
- During this back and forth play, players will try to match tiles so that the ends add up in multiples of five. Scores can be 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and even 30 points.
